Agriculture is no longer a county, state

equipment service technicians are more complex because electronic components
control the operations of tractors and combines. Today’s Agricultural technician is
required to have training in computer technology, electronically
controlled hydraulics, and global positioning systems. The days of working on your equipment

on different equipment here in UNOH, it’s really going to prepare you for the
field, because you never know what’s going to come in the shop, one day you
could have a tractor come in for a transmission issue, the next day you

header, I mean it really prepares you for what you are about to experience, VO: We have Associate and Diploma
programs that will provide the foundation for your career. Logan: A lot of places are just a diploma,
and I did a lot of research and it sounded like this was the best education
that I could get a degree with. UNOH having the opportunity to get a
bachelor’s degree that actually related to the industry that I wanted to work in
was a really big deal. VO: Each of our instructors brings real
world experience to the class room from years in the field. Our students train with the same tools
and equipment found in Ag service centers and dealerships across the nation. Another unique opportunity at UNOH is
through our partnership with Crown Equipment Corporation. Through special courses, students may

personally until I came to the school. I’ve actually learned how to split a
