• i rent and our pantry is a really weird shape next to the fridge. its deep and narrow and impossible to find anything in. we are in the process or renovating a house and i am designing the kitchen and i have a massive pantry that i designed for this reason. there is not enough space in pantry cabinets. then how do you organize them… and what about the bulk items that you dont have all the time. so much to think about …

  • I’ve tried so many solutions for spices. What finally worked best for our kitchen was to lay them into a wide shallow top drawer. But, we have a TON of drawers so I was able to dedicate one to spices. I love the spice jars you used! I wish I had a pantry. Instead we have a corner lazy Susan cabinet. And it’s always a MESS. Seriously need to figure out a solution to make it work better.

  • I had to throw away all of my dollar tree bins and baskets… I got overrun with them… hadn’t used them in about 2 years.. we have a pantry that needs organizing… I’ll have to go to DT and see what I can find. My pantry is in a closet near the kitchen, with a tall black utility shelf we got from Costco. It works out great.

  • I subscribed because your pantry was gross and had visible dog hair piles in the bottom. I have two cats and no matter how much I clean, piles of hair find their way into unfortunate places that I just don't see every time.

  • My pantry is a hot mess, but the shelves are triangular and I can’t seem to find something that works! Maybe I should just get baskets and go for it and see what works!

  • A good tip to take off old or anything with heavily adhesive is Goo Gone it probably cost about $7. 00 witch is not cheep but a little goes a long way! It has a cheerful aroma of oranges, or you could use Dawn dish soap and hot water.

  • Whe you open the pantry the reaction…. oh my god!!! This horrible!! No one in the world your mess is my goals πŸ˜‚ ok im in the 3:08 I’ll continue watching 😁

  • Looks like I have a project to do! Watching your video from Clarksville, Tennessee (about a hour away from Nashville). πŸ’•

  • Hi! New Subbie, here. I love watching pantry and organization videos. I have roller racks that sit on shelving in my pantry which allow the cans to roll forward and I love them. Fruits in one, veggies in another, soups in the next and so on. I also have a couple of lazy suzan's- a single for my salt, pepper, sugar dish- you know all of the items used daily. My second is a 2 level and holds several spice jars- the short tiny ones on top in alphabetical order and random seasoning blends on the bottom. I have all of my other spices in another cupboard. I have lots of spices, lol.

  • Loved this! My pantry is semi organized lol, although i still need to use the labels I bought 3 months ago which I havent used. πŸ™ˆ

  • It is so frustrating! To me, when I organize… I want to be perfect and make everything match. I need to realize function is the ultimate goal!

  • I'm 100% overwhelmed. So I came to YouTube to get inspiration. I'm so happy I clicked on your video first. The labels are cute! Now I have to change out my basket for the labels. I'll just use the other baskets for bathroom.

I didn't have dog hair at the bottom of the pantry, I had a variety of crumbs.😫

I'll tag you on IG once I'm done organizing.

  • Have to pullb everything out of my cabinets and get some baskets. My food cabinets have gotten away from me. Hard to find anything

  • Those little measurement/ conversion charts, have you thought about sticking them on the inside of the door(s) where the spices will go?

They will be NEAR where you need them, but they will be out of sight, until you open up a cabinet door, when you need them. And they won’t get lost.

    Just a suggestion… πŸ€”πŸ’πŸ‘β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπŸ˜‰πŸ˜πŸ˜˜πŸ₯°πŸŒΉ

  • Everybody watching, please don’t forget to thoroughly wash your containers when they 1st come home from the store!

You don’t know the conditions they were held in:
at the manufacturing plant and in warehouses, and in the storage warehouse for the store until they finally got put out on the stores’ display areas for you to purchase.

For all you know, they could’ve been near where they sprayed for insects, somewhere near where they were stored in the warehouses, etc.

  • Those kind of baskets are not built properly for the dimensions of canned foods. (Too dee fit in one basket.)

They work better for the tall upright sauce bottles and spices, etc.

You should get the kind of can dispensers that have a little rolling shelf/ dispenser where the cans lay sideways, all in the same direction, and roll down to pop out the next can.

  • Good morning!! I just ran across your video today and enjoyed it.

There are a couple things I use that has really helped my space that I thought I would share with you. I use an over the door shoe organizer in our pantry for all of our snack products, sauce mixes, ranch mix, puddings and jello. Then I have two dollar tree bins on the bottom shelf for the over flow, I don’t need every day. This ends up giving me so much more space on our shelves. And, the other thing I just bought was a small wire shelf that I can fit on my top shelf to extend my space up. That was a great addition. Hopefully you find one or both of those useful.

  • Hey first timer from Louisiana and I just built me a pantry and i feel much better I so happy when I go to cook now.

  • An option for the can soup is you know when Coca cola makes 12 pack containers make a container out of plastic that long it will work for soup and can goods too

  • I use lazy Susan turntables for my spices. Works great. I bought them at bed bath and beyond. But I think most stores have them.

    These may help AmyπŸ‘—Pantry/Pantry-Can-Organizers//

  • If you have most used soups there is a 6.99 toilet paper dispenser right now at ALDI (until Tuesday/soldout) that could also be used for soup cans! πŸ™‚ Or you could use magazine racks because they are half off at Target bc Back To School Stuff is now on Clearance! πŸ™‚ Hopefully this helps you with your soup can organization!

  • Who else thinks her cleaning and organizing videos are satisfying???😍😍😍β™₯️ also subscribe to my channel!!!β™₯️β™₯️

  • Heyyyyy Amy πŸ‘ I love your channel..πŸ’•..You did a great job!!!!!πŸ‘πŸ‘‰…but with the can goods I would stack them upward.☝….it would look better that way..πŸ‘Œ…but Thanks for the motivation..πŸ‘..I love itπŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ˜˜πŸ•πŸ˜˜πŸ•πŸ•πŸ˜˜πŸ•πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ•πŸ˜˜πŸ•

  • For your smaller soup cans, go to the aisle with the plastics. There are containers that are for pop can. They work WONDERFUL

  • Hey I've looked all over for those spice racks with the handle. Where can i get them. I tried on Wal-Mart and they don't ship and dont have them online

  • Hi! I'm from Fort Lauderdale and needs TONS of help organizing my pantry! Loved your video! Where did you get the Flour, Sugar, and salt jars? I looked in your description, but didn't see a link for those. ?? I would love those! I love the labels!! πŸ™‚

  • I love those white bins from DT they can be hard to find in the store but you can buy them online and pick up in the store.

  • It’s called a pantry. It’s ok to have extra mayo or peanut butter in your pantry. Pantries are not meant to be empty.

  • Organize spices by how you cook. Salt Pepper Garlic Garki Salt Onion Powder in front, then types of foods cooked. American seasoning, bbq, Southern, English, Irish/British, Italian seasoing, Asian seasoning, Mexican seasoming East Indian, Mediterrean, Middle Eastern. Maybe in their own narrow trays. I have them and when i make Sphagetti, i pull out the tray use next to stove then slide it back in.It also has a handle in front.

  • Wow Im single and i got like 5 baskets full of cans in the dining room on top of table. The reason u have so much trouble w cans is that they need their own shelf. Youve seen where people tier them, but that can waste space. So at dollar store and online they have roller can storage. And dollar tree hack is Magazine file holder turned on its back. Cans need there own shelf. So 4 of those. 1 for soups, beans, one for vegetables, one for tomato sauces. And one for fruit. Larger cans stand alone. I stack my shelf in that order, but i have 2 shelves. The top is at eye level and is cooking. Pasta sauces on one side and tomato and chile sauces on the other with my 2 trays of spices in middle and another row of olive oils avo oil balsalmic vinegar red wine vinegar AC vinegar. I am going to put my oils n vinegars in a clear narrow refridgerator tray that has a hole grip so i can slide those out use at stove or counter for salad and then return to tray and slide back. On next shelf I have soups on one side with liquid box soups 2 rows then 1 row of vegetables mixed, peas, carrots, green beans pinto beans refried, pickles relish ketchup mustard mayo not in fridge. i can stack 3 high, a thin narrow cabinet eye level to floor. Then 4rth row is fruit and canned pie mix apple cherry pumpkin puree, cranberry sauce. Next shelf is baking, Flour salt corn meal pancake mix corn starch baking soda jello, canned frostings evaporated milk and sweet condensed milk, cocoa, chocolate, cake and quick bread mixes, my cookies, fig newtons and granola, power bars. On the bottom shelf i want to be big cans of tomato and water bottles and coconut waters and perrier waters small 6 packs of V8, soda water and chips. Chips go upstairs to my room now lol. But i have crammed i dont know what down there and i have my water bottlez in the same basket you put ur cans in lol, out side the pantry, on floor in dining room. I needed one more shelf for pastas. i have pastas in 3 baskets on dining table and a small square w sauces mixes packets. I put the open pastas on top shelf on top of cans about 4 different zip lock bags and 1 spaget and 1 lasagna box. Renting room. We keep all our cereals out on top of fridge. I love to cook. I want to use what i have and shrink down more since i now have changed to low carb diet. I still love to cook for other people. Most of what I have is becuz i cooked for friends all the time where i used to live.

  • Awesome video! Very inspiring! I even got a few new ideas…thank you!! Our home is so cluttered right now (we have lived in the same house here in TN for 25 years so things tend to pile up big time) so I'm cleaning, and organizing. Have an awesome Day Amy! Looking forward to your other postings!!

  • On can goods some other site that I was checking out, used like soda can boxes, they put wrapping paper on them I plan to try that one and another one used small wire baskets which haven't worked that well for me but definitely going to try the soda can idea. Might want to check that out. If mine turn out I'll share the pic but that's a couple weeks or months from now so much to clean and organize here.
